Important Tip for Using Pharmacy Insurance with PacificSource
If you are a non-Medicare retiree, you may recall that EWEB shifted to PacificSource for employer medical and pharmacy insurance on 1/1/17.

As part of the change, PacificSource offered a 90 day transition on medication that requires either a pre-authorization or that may not be on the formulary.

If you filled a prescription during that 90 day transition PSHP probably paid the claim in a manner that you are used to then they would have sent you a letter notifying you to take action before your next refill to avoid any delays.

Neither Pacific Source nor EWEB wants to see anyone go without a needed prescription.  If you received either a 90 day notification letter or a denial letter on your prescriptions, please contact Pacific Source to understand what action is needed.

Contact PacificSource Customer Service at 888.977.9299 with questions.

You can also access the prescription drug formulary at https://pacificsource.com/drug-list/, select the Oregon Drug List if you want to proactively look up your medication to see if any authorization is needed.
